Senior Manage/Manager - Compliance - Automobiles - South Region

Primary Duties and Responsibilities-

Compliance Manager for India region, performs on some or all of the following:

- Overseeing and monitoring the compliance program (and implementation of new initiatives)

- Establishing methods to improve efficiency and quality of services, and to reduce the vulnerability to fraud, abuse, and waste

- Presiding over the Local Compliance Committee and oversight of local compliance committees

- Reporting on a regular basis ot the governing body (Management Committee-, leadership and Local Compliance Committee on progress and concerns

- Periodically revising the program in light of changes in the needs of the organization, and in the law and policies

- Implementing written policies, procedures, and standards of conduct

- Developing, coordinating, and/or participating in educational and training program that focuses on the elements of the compliance program, and seeks to ensure that all appropriate employees and management are knowledgeable of, and comply with pertinent standards

- Ensuring (with Purchasing) that business partners are aware of the requirements of the compliance program

- Ensuring (with HR) that there is due diligence in the hiring process

- Conducting periodic risk assessments and response plans, compliance, including the flexibility to design and coordinate internal investigations and any resulting corrective actions

- Independently investigating and acting on matters related to compliance, including the flexibility to design and coordinate internal investigations and any resulting corrective actions

- Developing policies and programs that encourage managers and employees to report suspected fraud and other improprieties without fear of retaliation

- Oversees the management of the Ethics and Compliance Hotline

- Solve Problems: Assess problem situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations and/or resolve the problem.

- Think Strategically: Assess options and actions based on trends and conditions in the environment, and the vision and values of our organization.

Additional requirements

- Proven experience as compliance Manager

- In-depth knowledge of the automotive industry's standards and regulations

- Familiarity with Industrial Value chain

- A business acumen partnered with a dedication to legality

- Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities

- An analytical mind able to - see- the complexities of procedures and regulations

- BSc/BA in law, business administration or related field

- Certified compliance professional is a plus
