Sr. Legal Counsel Pharmaceutical Services and Active Ingredients


Education/Qualification :

- LL.B. or LL.M. from a reputed law school in India or abroad

- Relevant contracting experience in-house or at a law firm; experience with or in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or healthcare industries preferred.

Key Responsibilities :

- Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of business-related and commercial contracts, including API Supply Agreement, License and Supply Agreement (Finished formulations), Technology transfer Agreements, Services/ Master Service Agreements, Product Registration Services Agreement, Consulting Agreements, Confidentiality Agreements, Distributor Agreement, In-licensing and Out-licensing Agreement Development/ Co-development Agreements for product Collaboration Agreements, MOU's, LOI/ Term Sheets and other Agreements related to development, manufacturing and supply of generic finished formulation and API for Global territories.

- Managing a high volume and variety of transactions.

- Collaborate with cross functional team for special projects on ad-hoc basis

- Providing practical legal advice and support directly to all departments/ internal clients in a fast-paced environment with a high level of professionalism.

- Implementing improvements to contract templates and the contract management processes.

- Using and implementation of digital tools for contract management and other legal processes

- Training and guiding business teams on the use of contract templates, relevant legal issues, and good contracting practices.

- Keeps informed of new laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting the company, and assists with development of policies and training as needed.

- Support and collaborate with the Business Compliance Officer to ensure implementation of compliance policies within the concerned Business Units.
