Skills Requirement:
- 3-12 years of relevant experience in social media marketing & content marketing; E-Commerce experience will be a huge advantage
- Master's in Mass Communication
- Well versed with the nuances of the landscape of social media and emerging platforms with deep knowledge or experience marketing to Gen-Z
- Hands-on experience with Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat, Josh, MOJ, Vimeo etc.
- Hands on experience in social analytics, social listening, and automation tools
- Ability to handle complex briefs and ideate out of the box
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Here's what will keep you busy during your time here.
1. The big idea machine
- Develop stimulus (fit for the medium) to arouse curiosity and create engagement
- Stay on top of cutting-edge social media execution tactics and shifts in the social media space
- Convert the stimulus into multiple formats, each format customized to the medium where it's going to be used (For e.g. A 60sec video on YouTube, a Thumb stopper on FB or a story on Insta - all coming from the same big idea)
- Collaborate with the Social Media Management team to ideate on fresh tactics and to create fun posts - games, memes, short videos etc., to grow our social following, higher organic reach and engagement
2. The micro-influencer & fan engagement network
- Work with partners to onboard an influencer for each medium and program, with focus not on the usual, big suspects but on those seemingly 'unknowns' sitting in Nagpur, Raipur or Bilaspur
- Own the channel strategy, content creation, influencer partnerships and building new audiences on emerging platforms
- Expand the fan base across the brand's owned social channels by attracting new followers and transforming current followers into brand advocates.
- Boosting fan engagement across various platforms
3. Content is King
- Develop engaging, creative & insightful content to engage audiences - work that makes others stand up and say "I wish I had worked on that"
- Run innovative campaigns to help expand the reach of our campaign properties and content themes
- Plan content themes for every month based on external events (festivals/topical days etc.) and the priority businesses of the brand
- Craft smart, witty, ideas and copy for all platforms and source or create graphics for various social platforms
- Boost social media posts as ads to extend their reach beyond our community
4. The agency and partner network
- Build and manage the expansive agency & freelancer ecosystem to support high-scale, high-quality content production
- Work on productions and brand integrations with internal creative studios, creative agencies and media partners
5. The media plan and strategy
- Develop media plans and campaign management strategy for social media
- Track and improve on organic reach, engagement levels of posts regularly
- Manage the brand's reputation on social media by monitoring and addressing queries and requirements promptly and through the new campaigns developed
- Standardize tracking, tools, and measurement methodologies in partnership with the analytics team
6. Stakeholder management
- Coordinate and communicate campaign schedules with internal stakeholders to ensure status and process are aligned
- Collaborate with businesses, brand and comms teams to conceptualize and disseminate information
- Managing legal, finance and accounts processes including onboarding, purchase orders and payments
