Our client is the largest manufacturing company based out of Gurgaon with many dealers across India and exporting their products to SAARC countries..

As a Sr. Lead- Commercial, you will efficiently lead the annual & monthly procurement planning and management and driving vendor relationships & ensure timely service delivery to internal customers

What you will do:

A. Strategic Planning

- Driving the Procurement strategy such as pricing, product mix & channel policies; Ensuring execution of the procurement in line with the planned strategic expansion & retention of the vendor base

- Driving identification & development of Purchase channels, distributor networks etc. and Managing negotiations to secure preferential rates for the Organization

B. Financial Controls

- Providing Department Budget estimations & providing inputs on inventory carrying cost to enable budget preparation and finalization and ensuring adherence to the same

C. Process Excellence

- Analysis with the help of MIS presentation and its effective implementation.

- Researching contracts, suppliers, equipment and regulations, including evaluation and purchase of new product

- Ensuring adequate stocks are maintained across inventories and replenished as per procurement plan; Liaising with Head - Store for management and planning of procurement plan

- Responding to inquiries from a variety of internal and external sources for the purpose of providing information, direction and/or appropriate referrals

- Driving procurement operations of Civil, IT, Fire & Safety, Utility, Insurance and manpower contracts.

- Developing and Managing new vendors to increase the supplier base for the organization.

- Driving the bidding process and contracts for vendor e.g. prepare specifications, evaluate bids, recommend vendors, conduct bid meetings, etc.) for the purpose of securing items and/or services within budget and in compliance with the requirements

- Taking new initiative towards cost savings and automation of existing processes.

- Promoting online buying through e auctions (ARIBA) and derive cost optimization out of it.

D. People

- Driving performance orientation through regular monitoring, review of performance parameters and providing feedback to team members

- Contributing towards development of talent for the department by providing subordinates with adequate exposure and growth opportunities to enable readiness for higher roles

- Actively participating in HR initiatives to drive overall employee engagement and motivation

- Any other additional responsibility assigned from time to time as a standalone project or regular work.

Candidate Profile:

What you need to have:

- Female Candidate are preferred.

- Should have experience in handling a team of atleast 5 to 10 people

- Must have good knowledge of SAP and E-Auction

- Must have working experience with large scale manufacturing companies

- Knowledge of HR

- People management skills

- Well equipped to understand the strong purchase/procurement process

- Excellent communication skills

Experience: 12 to 18 years

Annual CTC: Rupees 20,00,000 to 25,00,000
