Purpose:
To spearhead the growth and expansion of key e-commerce channels for our brands, ensuring robust sales performance, brand visibility, and market share.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Achieve profitable sales growth in key e-commerce channels.
- Enhance brand recall, visibility, and share of voice in these channels.
- Expand category width, ensure successful new product launches, and meet other category-specific objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
P&L Management:
- Develop and execute aggressive growth plans for key e-commerce platforms, overseeing all business activities at these channels.
- Manage channel marketing, visibility, and consumer promotion budgets to maintain channel profitability.
Visibility Metrics:
- Ensure optimal cataloging and stock levels for brand representation across all categories.
- Drive innovative content strategies to boost organic reach.
- Participate in major marketplace events and secure brand visibility in prominent properties.
Operational Metrics:
- Ensure consistent operations across multiple warehouse locations.
- Coordinate supply chain functions to maximize stock availability.
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate closely with marketplace teams, internal brand and category teams, supply chain teams, and other stakeholders to drive brand growth and sales.
People Management:
- Foster a supportive and collaborative environment, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities for team members.
- Recruit and build a highly motivated and self-driven team to sustainably grow the e-commerce business for the brands.
Experience & Qualification:
Mandatory:
- MBA from a reputed institution, with a minimum of 5 years experience in sales e-commerce roles with P&L responsibility.
- Proven experience in managing e-commerce marketplaces.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and perform under high-pressure conditions.
- Strong passion for numbers.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Excellent planning, analytical, and lateral thinking abilities.
- Proficiency in managing relationships, leading teams, and working with multiple stakeholders.
