The Key Account Manager - Air/Ocean Logistics plays a pivotal role in managing and growing relationships with key clients in the Air and Ocean logistics sectors. This position requires a strategic and customer-focused professional with expertise in logistics and supply chain management. The Key Account Manager will be responsible for ensuring client satisfaction, driving revenue growth, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients in the Air and Ocean logistics sectors.

- Understand client needs, goals, and challenges to provide customized logistics solutions.

- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring prompt response to inquiries and issue resolution.

- Collaborate with the cross-functional team and contribute to the development of strategic plans for business expansion.

- Work closely with clients to understand evolving business requirements and align logistics solutions accordingly.

- Develop and implement account plans that align with organizational objectives and client needs.

- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify strategic opportunities.

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the effective execution of logistics strategies.

- Negotiate and finalize logistics contracts with key clients, ensuring favorable terms for both parties.

- Monitor contract compliance and address any issues to maintain strong client relationships.

- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for key accounts to measure success and identify areas for improvement.

- Generate regular reports on account performance, revenue, and logistics metrics.

- Provide insights and recommendations based on performance data.

- Work closely with logistics, operations, and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

- Communicate client requirements and expectations internally to facilitate effective coordination.

- Foster a collaborative culture that prioritizes customer satisfaction and operational

Qualifications and Skills:

- 5+ experience in key account management within the Air/Ocean logistics industry.

- In-depth knowledge of logistics, supply chain management, and international shipping processes.

- Ability to build new and existing businesses and expand a portfolio

- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level.

- Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.

- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data.

- Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Proficiency in relevant logistics software and tools.
