Role : Sr. HR Business Partner
Location : Kolkata
The Sr.HR Business Partner will support one of the Vertical/Channel/Business of the Organisation
Key Responsibilities :
1. Business Partner :
- Individual will help build functional teams of professionals and create and implement appropriate career path strategies.
- Help in laying best in-class processes and systems that drives the culture and make the organisation a great place to work.
- Will assist in conceptualization and drive implementation of people management initiatives and policies to support overall business strategy.
- This involves understanding the business/functional issues and driving HR activities like recruitment/selection, staffing, retention, compensation and employee benefits administration, employee relations, management development, training and performance management
2. Talent Management :
- Review and build capability and drive the performance management.
- Actively promote succession-planning, keeping in mind the overall business strategy.
- Focus on retention of key talents.
- Help develop improved solutions for recruiting, retaining and developing key talent.
- Design assessment tools to define competency and readiness gaps for key talent.
- Design and implement strong reward and recognition system.
3. Functional Management :
- Lead implementation of core HR programs into the business to insure greater alignment with overall organization's HR policies and processes.
4. Employee Champion :
- It is important for the incumbent to have the right balance between organization's goals and employee's cause.
- Should have the strength of character to take a stand and push back leadership team wherever required.
- Facilitate an open, inclusive, Organisation values-based environment.
- Ensure that the HR is perceived as an objective employee champion and a trusted partner.
Experience & Qualification & Preferred Skills :
- Master's level HR Qualification from a Premier Institute preferred
- A minimum of 8 to 11 years of HR experience
- Understanding of organizational dynamics and the ability to think strategically are essential.
- Understanding of Change management process and prior experience of driving large scale change agenda in a growth centered organization will be preferred.
- Ability to work with senior management team on complex business and organizational issues and design and provide suitable solutions will be a key deliverable for this role.
- The ability to effectively work and communicate at all levels within the organization and commitment to strategic business partnerships and team developments is a must.
- Must be able to multi-task, deal with ambiguity, constantly adapt to a high pressure environment, and thrive in chaos, in a highly dynamic environment.
- An entrepreneur mindset and never say die attitude is must to be successful in the organisation.
- Proficiency in the Bangla language - Read, Speak & Write
