Senior Fund Manager - Fixed Income

Band: IL3 (E7)

Reports to: Head - Investments

Purpose of the Job - Fund Manager for ULIP Fixed Income Funds

Key responsibilities-

- Manage Fixed Income Fund portion of ULIP Fixed Income and Hybrid Funds.

- Tracking macro-economic data and events. Develop and recommend trading strategies and exploring new investment opportunities in the dynamic market scenario to maximize portfolio return.

- Ensuring best execution of trades in the Fixed Income market. Securities include corporate bonds, government securities & Money market instruments.

- Regular discussions and updates of market developments (domestic/global) with fund management team.

- Initiating trade ideas in government bonds and credits.

- Regular and frequent updates on competitive performance, portfolio positioning of all schemes.

- Carry out performance analysis and attribution of fund performance

Regular interaction with market participants (counterparties / brokers) about market views and other information.

- Regular interaction with Arrangers/ DCM Members on updates on primary market deals.

- Keeping updates of various regulatory developments from RBI/IRDA/SEBI and its impacts.

- Ensure investments are in compliance with the organizations investment policies.

Ensure compliance of all IRDA investment limits across the various funds.

- Developing smooth co-ordination with team members in front office and mid & back office.

- Active involvement in preparations of various presentations/ materials like: Investment Committee / Monthly Meetings.

- Preparing reports for taking appropriate investment decisions.

- Systems development / updates
