FAAS IT Support - ERP Financials Functional Consultant

Experienced Oracle EBS or Fusion Financial Consultants

Experience: 5-10 years

Preferred qualifications MBA Finance or CA or ICWA or other equivalent accounting experience.

The consultant should have deep understanding of accounting.

Finance Modules: General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Cash Management, Fixed Assets

Integration with other Oracle Applications.

Work location :TVM /Kochi

Job Profile Summary:

As an Oracle/SAP ERP Senior functional financial consultant with Financial Accounting Advisory Services, you'll contribute to FAAS engagements and it integral projects. An important part of your role will be to actively understand internal and external FAAS client requirements and provide ERP IT support accordingly. Based on the requirements you will provide solutions and work with other FAAS and advisory team members in building and delivering such ERP IT solutions. Work nature would be Current state assessment/study, Transformation support, Implementation support, Implementation review, solution development, Testing support, Data migration strategy support etc.

Functional Responsibilities:

- Should be a qualified accounting professional/post graduate from any reputed educational institution and has strong hands on accounting/financial skills & work experience.

- Added certifications on Accounting and Oracle Financials integrated products would be an advantage

- Should have 10+years of experience in ERP system (Oracle Applications 11i, R12, Fusion, SAP FICO) and core Financial Accounting Advisory services process areas.

- Good understanding and implementation experience in all of ERP Finance modules. AP AR, GL, CE, R12 EB-TAX

- Have a thorough knowledge on ERP system business workflow configurations and architecture.

- Should have worked with clients designing solutions on ERP implementations related to all financials processes and its integration.

- Should have strong understanding on Finance module standard business flows.

- Should have a strong understanding on data flow from and between Finance modules with in ERP System.

- Should have worked as a lead in multiple projects in ERP transformation, implementation and support projects.

- Oracle Fusion or SAP4 Hana experience would be an added advantage.

- Must have valid passport and should be willing to travel extensively on short term and long term Client site work / FAAS Business assignments.

- Experience in any of the major industry sectors like energy, oil & gas, power & utilities will be an added advantage.

- Should have hands-on experience and strong knowledge on Financial modules integration with other modules such as MM/PO, SD/OM etc.

Client responsibilities:

- Participate in FAAS IT engagements

- Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress

- Prepare reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties. Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel. Experience of having worked in a client facing delivery role

- Build strong internal relationships within FAAS Financial Accounting Advisory Services and with other services across the organization

- Support the service line leader in business development, and customer relationship and account management.

- Participate in a business call.

- Take ownership of initiatives and lead them to success.

- Strong customer handling skills and ability to lead & mentor team-members

- Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures

- Ability to drive project and team independently

- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

- Ability to work as part of a team

- Ability to follow well-defined release management processes

Competencies / Skills:

- Should possess strong written/verbal communication skill and ability to translate requirements into design documents.

- Should be well versed in presentation skills

- Ability to interact with customers confidently.

- Flexible to accommodate project needs and must be flexible to work extended hours to provide global coverage to the customers

- Excellent organizational and time management skills, strong analytical & problem-solving skills

- Ability to acquire, absorb, and apply complex business knowledge to problems quickly
