Senior Financial Consultant

Work you'll do :

The Senior Consultant provides consulting services by working for corporations focused on Real estate funds, private equity, and the alternative asset industry.

Engagement Execution :

- Working as part of Fund Management Team aligned to Asset Management business of the organization, particularly looking after the infrastructure funds, real estate funds, or transportation funds.

- Work closely with the Fund Controllers to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the Funds as well as assist in ad-hoc activities.

- Performing NAV calculations and producing the financial statements including detailed notes to accounts.

- Reviewing and analyzing the Property level financial results data

- Preparing weekly/monthly JE's at Property / Asset / SPV / HoldCo level

- Preparing monthly Property / Asset Consolidated financial statements per reporting requirements

- Performing analytics outlining of any variances and/or issues to research

- Preparing Account Analysis/ Interim accounts monthly / quarterly financial statements as per GAAP

- Preparing the cash forecast and projections frequently to assess the liquidity position of the fund and to advise on the decision-making process

- Liaison with external vendors (property managers, controllers, local accountants, fund administrators, etc.) to ensure timely completion of financial statements

- Execute ad-hoc queries and support the client in audit activities

- Submit financial information for Fund Consolidation; continually improve the level and content of reporting and communication

- Working with the team to identify and understand their challenges, managing day-to-day client and internal relationships, and identify solutions to drive desired outcomes

Qualifications Required :

- Post-Graduate/Graduate in Finance /Accounting/ CFA /FRM .

- 5-8 years of relevant experience in Real Estate fund accounting or alternative assets

- Experience in leading teams of 10+ colleagues

- Proficiency in MS Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

- Experience in working on various packages such as Yardi, TRIRIGA, Spectrum, etc.

- Experience in working with teams across multiple geographies

- Experience in working and managing multiple stakeholders
