Desired Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- Professional certifications - CIA, CPA, SOCPA, ACA (Required)
- Bilingual candidates preferred (English + ARABIC)
- Minimum of 15 years of audit experience in a oil/gas/petrochemical refinery
- At least 5 years of experience during initial part of career in a Big 4 audit firm
- Strong academic credentials and work ethic
- Proven experience in managing large teams of professionals
- Excellent communication skills
Job Description:
The Finance Manager will report to the Chief Financial Officer, and will manage a team of experienced and professionally qualified accountants, section heads and analysts. The role encompasses financial reporting of the entire refinery operations, and will include leading the team to:
- Maintain and analyse the general ledger, payroll, receivables and payables, fixed assets, cash management and all processes related to maintaining the books of accounts for the refinery including JV accounting.
- Ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as well as Saudi Accounting Standards (SOCPA) in all internal, regulatory and year-emd financial statements and reports.
- Manage and report under GOSI and DZIT regulations.
- Ensure compliance with internal control framework and facilitate coordination with audit groups.
- Manage and prepare relevant MIS reports for senior management.
- Have strong fundamental knowledge of accounting principles, theories and practice - IFRS and SOCPA - and proactively manage all convergence, transitional accounting and system readiness for reporting.
- Manage relationships and consultations with the Company's external auditors and keep abreast of all accounting and financial reporting developments in Saudi Arabia and globally.
