Senior Finance Functionary

- Our client is a 87 year old diversified, family owned group with consolidated business turnover of - $ 400 million. The group has market leadership in all its core businesses and has been aggressively looking at growing in newer sectors by leveraging its brand value as a reputed family owned conglomerate.

- The group companies have manufacturing / service operations in India, USA, Kenya, Germany etc. All group companies are privately held with strategic long term equity investors in few of the core businesses. The group also runs international partnerships / JV in most of its businesses. The group will be looking at public listing as well as getting strategic investors in all its businesses in future.

- The said client is looking for a Senior Finance Functionary to be based out of Manipal, Karnataka.

Primary function :

- This functionary will support the Global Group CFO to manage and provide leadership for the Treasury Management and other F&A activities, like managing processes and reporting to analysis, strategic financial decision making, investment analysis, tax management & control and secretarial compliances .

Reporting / Working Relationships :

The position will report to Global Group CFO on all strategic and tactical matters as they relate to budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs and the securing of new funding.

Joining Location : Manipal

Minimum Experience : 14 Yrs+

Principal Duties & Responsibilities :

- Treasury Management

- Financial Planning

- Operations / Operational Systems and Processes

- Financial Information Financial System And Processes

- External Interface (Bank Interface / communication at the corporate level, Sales tax & Excise Authority etc)

- Team Management

- Other related activities (Secretarial Compliances, loans, bank guarantees, export statutory compliances etc.)

- Risk Management

Desired Profile :

Knowledge And Skill Requirements :

- Incumbent should have had the required experience in leading accounts and finance teams for at least 14 years.

- Should be either CA/ MBA/ similar qualification with the following knowledge sets.

- Should have experience and knowledge of handling all treasury management related activities

- Overall view on the Indian and global economy and investment opportunities

- Working Knowledge of all tax related matters, income, excise, sales, service etc

- Excellent control and knowledge of P&L. Balance sheet, and other financial statements

- Good working knowledge of audit processes

- Knowledge of Enterprise Valuation

- Working knowledge of secretarial compliance

- Key Managerial Skills :

- People skills, Initiative, Communication skills, IT savvy

- Innovation, Teamwork and Good Communication

- Lead & motivate experienced team members to participate actively.

- Proactive in taking initiatives.

Desired Requirements :

- Experience of consolidating / introducing new processes.

- Should have US/Africa work exposure (not necessarily worked in US/Africa)

- Experience of managing operations while transitioning from manual to ERP
