Senior Finance Business Analyst - Financial Models

Job Location: Gurugram

Job Type: Contractual

Job Responsibilities:

- Building financial models using historical data and providing forecasts based on various industry-related operating metrics

- Performing financial spreading analysis of financial statements

- Work with Senior Consultant / Principal Consultant on project execution, preparation of financial models, and business development which improve and develop subject matter expertise

- Be responsible for business planning, capital planning & fundraising, business due diligence, financial restructuring Building Financial and Valuation models

- Ability to understand client-specific requirements across all covered data sets and products

- Create quantitative models, screens, PowerPoint & word documents including Pitchbook and Board Presentations

- Assisting the clients with detailed financial models including market sizing, investment, DCF, M&A, and LBO models

- Performing in-depth, competitor, industry, market, and economy research

- Ability to liaison and collaborate with various internal stakeholders

- Evaluate companies using various financial valuation methods, such as DCF, comparable company analysis, capital structure analysis, etc

- Identify key financial and non-financial risks and advise mitigants for those risks

- Conduct scenario analysis based on microeconomic and macroeconomic factors to access business risk

Job Requirements:

- CA / Master's degree in Finance

- 1-2 years experience in building financial models

- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint knowledge

- Strong understanding and knowledge of the fundamentals of business, financial statements, and investments, Proficient in research and analysis

- Good knowledge and understanding of capital and commodity markets

- An inclination toward the customer-oriented approach

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Good communication - written & verbal and excellent presentation skills, Strong collaboration skills
