PG Diploma in Human Resource Management from Premier Management Institute-Tier I campus with 6 - 8 years in a large sized FMCG/manufacturing.

Non Tier I Campuses - Professionals with Past Experience of 6 - 8 years in Managing factories only in FMCG Organizations.
JOB PURPOSE:
To head the HR function in the unit, and to formulate ER/HR strategy for the Unit ensuring harmonious Employee Relations climate, and in driving critical change management initiatives.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Formulate appropriate ER/HR strategy for the unit
2. Review ER systems, policies and practices for appropriateness in driving unit goals
3. Ensure implementation of ER strategy, practices & policies in the unit
4. Drive change management initiatives (such as Long Term Settlements, etc.) towards achievement of Business goals
5. Proactively maintain and manage external interface with HR fora and relevant professional bodies
6. Proactively and positively interact with and statutory & government authorities
Monitor, analyze, & improve effectiveness of efforts in 'ER/HR Systems' with respect to:
- Employee representatives
- Talent management
- Employee communication, engagement & grievance handling systems
- Employee benefits and wage administration systems
- Discipline management & handling of legal cases/disputes
- Statutory compliance and audit systems
- HR Budget & Capital Expenditure Management
- Environment management
7. Continuously assess & ensure compliance on impact of applicable legislation, arbitrations and rulings
8. Set direction on all statutory and legal matters in the domain of HR
9. Review and improve ER cost management for the unit
9. Facilitate adoption and absorption of contemporary HR IT systems
First-hand experience of dealing with employee unions, executing long term settlements, etc.
