1. POSITION VACANT: Senior Executive-Social Media and PR, Bharat Rural Livelihood Foundation, New Delhi

2. ORGANISATION BACKGROUND:

Bharat Rural Livelihoods Foundation (BRLF) was setup by Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India (GOI) as an independent organization under the Societies Registration Act to facilitate civil society action in partnership with State and Central Government, for transforming livelihoods and lives of rural households, with an emphasis on women, particularly in the Central Indian Tribal Region.

BRLF is a unique and first-of-its-kind initiative and the Foundation is constituted as a partnership between Government on the one hand and private sector philanthropies, public and private sector undertakings (under Corporate Social Responsibility) on the other. Major functions of BRLF is fostering strategic partnerships with state govt for improving programme outcomes, provide financial grants to Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to meet their human resource and institutional costs for up-scaling of proven interventions, invest in institutional strengthening of smaller CSOs, capacity building of professional human resources working at the grassroots, and to create a Knowledge Hub for the sector.

3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Senior Executive-Social Media and PR shall be responsible for developing and executing strategies to strengthen BRLF brand and promote BRLF mission to the public. S/he will create, manage, and execute public relations and social media campaigns that increase public awareness and engagement.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

(A) Social Media:

(1) Develop and execute detailed social media strategies and plans with clear objectives;

(2) Manage social media accounts, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc;

(3) Develop and manage creative content for social media and other online platforms;

(4) Create, monitor, and manage campaigns on social media platforms;

(5) Monitor and analyze the performance of social media channels, targeting, and campaigns;

(6) Develop, maintain, and enhance relationships with CSO partners, key influencers, and other stakeholders through social media;

(7) Track and report on the key performance indicators;

(8) Utilize data analysis tools to identify trends and insights;

(B) Media and PR:

(1) Identify and work with relevant media outlets to promote the BRLF's brand;

(2) Create and disseminate press releases and other media materials;

(3) Organise Media Visits to the BRLF program area;

(4) Monitor and report on news and developments related to our BRLF and its thematic areas;

(5) Monitor and analyze media coverage;

(6) Develop and maintain relationships with key media contacts;

4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

Qualification:

(1) Applicant must have a bachelor's degree/ post-graduate diploma in communications, public relations, journalism, or marketing.

Experience:

(1) Minimum five years of experience in public relations and/or social media;

(2) Experience with social media analytics and reporting tools.

Essential Skills and Competencies:

(1) Proven track record of successful social media campaigns;

(2) Proficiency in Adobe Creative Studio and other platforms such as Hootsuite, Canva WordPress, etc;

(3) Excellent knowledge of social media best practices;

(4) Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

(5) Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills;

(6) Knowledge of the social media landscape and best practices;

(7) Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team;

(8) Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines;

(9) Knowledge of media relations and outreach;

(10) Knowledge of content management systems.

5. COMPENSATION OFFERED:

Gross compensation budgeted for the position is attractive. The actual offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience and salary history.
