Senior Executive - Demand Planning
Division: Strategic Sales Planning
Key Responsibilities :1. Prepare sales plan and demand forecast based on analysis of historical data, market trends, seasonality, promotional activities, and other influencing factors to refine demand forecasts.
2. Align sales forecasts with production plans and provide insights on demand variability and forecast accuracy.
3. Optimize stock levels based on demand forecasts and supply constraints to minimize excess inventory and reduce stock-outs.
4. Work closely with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to align the marketing, production and sales plan.
5. Work with plant, warehouse, and logistics departments to determine and set up dispatches and inter transfers.
6. Liquidate stock for slow moving and near expiry stocks.
7. Conduct root cause analysis for under/over forecast items and discuss with sales teams to resolve them.
Desired Candidate Profile :- Master's degree in marketing / business administration.
- Work experience of min 4 years in Sales Planning / Demand Planning preferably in FMCG industry.
- Knowledge of sales planning and forecasting, adept at creating various reports such as capacity planning, revenue report generation, sales proposals, scenario analysis, sales strategies etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to be able to effectively work with cross functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales performance metrics.
- Excellent Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite specially with MS Excel & PowerPoint.
