Job Description - The In-Market Data & Analytics team is composed of business interpreters, data scientists, and data experts who can: quickly understand the business context + problem, apply advanced mathematics and/or statistics to large data sets; and operate in cloud based environments where data, models, and user interfaces reside in the same platforms-core technologies.

Description

Key Accountabilities/Deliverables

- Perform exploratory and targeted data analysis


- Help build data-science and algorithmic solutions to address business problems requiring descriptive, diagnostic, predictive analytics

- Manage every project through the lifecycle of identifying the problem, user requirement gathering, building, fine tuning, deployment & run



- Drive new value from insights from connecting external and internal data sources


Resources

The position is an individual contributor role working closely with the different functional teams. This position is expected to be a hands on analytics, reporting & project management role landing data and analytics projects in all parts of the business.

Profile

Relevant Experience and Profile:

- Bachelors/Masters degree in a relevant technical field (Operations Research, Computer Science, IT, Statistics, Business Analytics or similar).

- Hands on Project management & business analytics experience.



- Track record in building analytical solutions using quantitative and statistical approaches. Passion for empirical research and for answering hard questions with data



- Prior industry experience in CPG, Retail, Consumer Durables, Media preferred. Experience in MMM, segmentation, Media analytics would be preferred.



- Ability to communicate complex quantitative insights in a precise, and actionable manner


- Strong communication skills and ability to work with peers and demonstrate vertical and lateral influence.
