Senior Engineering Manager - Front End

Roles & Responsibilities:

A Senior Engineering Manager to join the Bangalore Centre to provide the technical expertise to take on major projects and also manage a team of engineers, leads etc. You will not only optimize your own work but make sure engineers are able to optimize theirs. As a Sr. Engineering Manager you manage your project goals, contribute to product strategy and help develop your team. Looking for hands on tech leader with an experience of handling the managers. This role will require interacting with global counterparts and will report into senior leadership team.

The position's purpose includes, but is not limited to:

- Efficiently and effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical internal team members as well as third party client stakeholders.

- As needed, gather requirements and analyze, understand and translate those requirements into technical specifications.

- Participate in design reviews and provide input to design recommendations where necessary.

- Participate in code reviews and acceptance process in order to improve methodology and delivery. Setting goals, performance reviews, coaching, training needs, hiring

Qualifications:

- 10+ yrs of experience

- Education: BE/B.Tech/MCA(No correspondence course) from an institute of repute

- Must have worked with globally distributed teams.

- Exceptional engineering & design focused business judgment.

- Tech Stack - node.js, angular, MVC, Oracle, microservices, jscript, jquery

- Must be results-driven and have a strong bottom-line orientation.

- Accomplish results through direct reports, colleagues in other parts of the company, and partners, even when they are not direct reports.

- Ability to work well on virtual teams across multiple time-zones.

- Must be flexible, with a high tolerance for organizational complexity and ability to work with partners from within the company and outside.

- Must be able to mentor team members and partners to accomplish project and departmental goals and objectives.

- Must be able to discuss technical aspects of architecture /design / code issues directly with technical teams.

- Must be have experience in planning, analyzing requirements, designing solutions and developing code

- The ability to display strong problem solving skills and perform under pressure is required.

- Prior experience with enterprise class application/web development as developer or manager strongly preferred.
