Key responsibilities are:
- Set up the engineering organization & processes to enable timely delivery of projects with high quality.
- Design architecture of the platform, that's robust, flexible, scalable & highly available
- Ability to plan well within budgets and deliver effectively
- Build and lead a strong engineering team. Keep them engaged, and help them with growth and development
- Communicate the roadmap, scope and risks of your projects, and lead the delivery of major initiatives on clear timelines
- Be able to clearly communicate technical details to non- technical members of our organisation in a manner that is easily understandable
Must Have
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, building consumer transaction products using open source technology.
- Led a team of at least 10-15 engineers.
- Experience in planning/architecture and building large scale products
- Flexible: Can be an engineering leader or the lead programmer, as the situation requires.
- Must have built products from scratch that have seen scale.
- Experience in managing secure, scalable & highly available systems.
- Experience across managing back-end, front-end, mobile, server management
- Excellent leadership skills to hire & mentor the engineers under you.
- Deep understanding of technologies and architecture in a highly scalable and available set-up.
- Strong object oriented design skills, and an uncanny ability to design intuitive module and interfaces
- Worked in early stage companies
- BE/BTech in Computer Science or some equivalent academic stance

- Able to establish credibility with smart engineers quickly, and provide longer term vision and motivation.
- Healthcare domain experience
