Responsibilities:
1. Review of deployment plans of for new client sites in light of the needs of the Use team.
2. Research and Experimentation with innovative energy-saving and maintenance optimization techniques and algorithms. Our goal is to be the best in the world in our application of operational optimization techniques.
3. Input (Energy), Output (Tonnage), Run Hour and Other Relevant Analysis on a periodic basis for each of the chiller plants at each of our client sites using including identification of gaps and opportunities.
4. Design of Optimization Algorithms for deployment at our client sites through.
5. Configuring Alerts and Alarms relevant to chiller plants and specific individuals in SJPL and client teams across sites.
6. Coordination: With Projects team to design energy optimization algorithms, with the Operations team to ensure the algorithms are being deployed on-site on a continuous basis to eliminate energy waste, and with Product Development team to add/edit features to enable better overall results.
7. Verifying the energy savings impact of each energy optimization algorithm.
8. Training: Design and deliver training sessions on energy optimization to other members of team.
9. Reporting and Presentation: Ensure high quality reporting from the Use team, including preparation and presentation of best practices and case studies to internal and external audiences.
10. Performing other related duties as assigned.
Character and Personality:

Qualifications:
1. Passes Fit (Core Values assessment)
2. 4+ years of experience covering a mix of energy auditing and optimization using control systems
3. Working experience with building energy management systems, including strong fundamentals about central air conditioning systems (chiller plants) and a good understanding of typical instrumentation in buildings (sensors, meters, controllers, networking, etc.).
4. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
5. Expert at mass balance and heat balance, and other energy calculations
6. Bachelor's Degree or Higher in Electrical / Mechanical / Energy Engineering
