Roles & Responsibilities
What you would do:
- You will be the Trusted Advisor to customers and prospects of our company.
- You will lead Global Presales function supporting Direct Sales, AM and Channel Sales growth in India, MEA, SEA and NA.
- You will lead and manage a distributed SC team across India.
- Align with GTM Leadership on growth goals and drive the function towards achieving these goals.
- Continuously work on skill improvement of SC's and make sure that demo quality, documentation is upto the mark.
- You will own market and competitive intelligence and work with Marketing teams to create battlecards, other campaigns.
- You will work with cross functional teams like Product and Engineering to help define product roadmap.
- You will be face of our company at events and webinars, helping evangelise our product.
What you must have:
- Overall experience of 12-15 years with minimum of 8 years in a presales role and preferably at least 3 years as a presales leader in a SAAS organisation. Fintech/other industry experience will not be considered.
- You should have previously lead a team of at least 2-3 SC's.
- Candidates with an Engineering Degree or high technical skill set will be preferred.
- Deep understanding of Enterprise Landscape and integration frameworks.
- Deep understanding of how a deal cycle runs and when/what should a SC do.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to roll up the sleeve and do a demo when needed.
- Large/Complex Deal solutioning experience
- You should have attended Demo to win and other presales trainings during your career.
- You should have had experience in improving the discovery, demo, documentation process in your previous roles.
- You should have analytical and problem solving skills to navigate complex customer challenges.
More about the role
While your primary work will be in India time zone (9:30-6:30), this is a global and high availability role, you could have to work in different timezones a few times in a month.
Expect 30% Travel for this role within and outside India.
Role will report to SVP and GM.
