Senior Director - Legal - IT/ITeS - LLB

As a senior legal professional you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the legal affairs of an organization.

Job Synopsis :

1) Leading a team of legal support staff, providing legal advice and guidance to the wider business.

2) Work closely with Department of Legal Affairs (DLA) team

3) Providing legal guidance on a wide range of legal matters such as contracts, regulatory compliance, litigation, employment law, intellectual property and corporate governance.

4) Assess potential legal risks and proactively implement solutions.

Review, draft, and negotiate various contracts, agreements, and legal documents

5) Developing and implementing legal procedures and policies to ensure the company's compliance with applicable laws.

6) Representing the company in legal proceedings, working with outside counsel when required.

Desired Background:

Excellent communication, negotiation and problem solving skills

a) Bachelor's degree in law (LLB from a recognized university) with +15years of experience in Corporate Legal and legal operations

b) Extensive experience of Information Technology/ IT Services industry with expansive knowledge of IT Contracting

c) Thorough understanding of Indian legal framework, regulatory environment, and business practices
