Senior Director - Engineering - Energy/Cleantech Industry

We are seeking a Senior Director of Engineering to join the India Team and help achieve ambitious goals for business and the planet.

What you will Contribute:

- Lead software development for various products

- Devise and drive strategy to establish company products for all its current and future customers.

- Manage and mentor a diverse team of managers, engineers, consultants, and technical experts, promoting collaboration, innovation, and improvement.

- Oversee the creation and implementation of best practices and methodologies focused on consistency, quality, and efficiency.

- Set up processes and a culture conducive to transformative growth and aligned with firm's global development processes and values.

- Drive strategic planning process in collaboration with stakeholders and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

- Manage timelines, budgets, risks and resources to ensure on-time, within-budget product roadmap delivery.

- Track and Analyze metrics to evaluate performance, risks, identify improvement areas, and drive excellence.

- Support other functions like Industry Solutions, Customer Support and Professional Services.

Requirements:

- The ideal candidate should have more than 15 years of experience in software engineering with 5+ years in starting, leading, growing high-growth startups or business units as an Engineering leader.

- Industry knowledge in the field of Energy, Cleantech Preferred

- Strong people management skills. Hiring, mentoring, motivating highly skilled engineers.

- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams, drive accountability, and foster collaboration.

- Ability to coach and mentor budding leaders and managers.

- Strong believer and follower of Agile and experienced in implementing and optimizing agile development and continuous integration / continuous delivery methodologies

- Strategic thinker, capable of developing and executing long-term growth strategies.
