Senior Data Scientist/Business Analyst (For a leading Insurance Company)

Job Description:

- Apply a broad array of analytics skills including ML, statistics, text-mining/NLP, and modelling business problems and extract insights from structured and unstructured data sources and complementary digital information streams to business challenges

- Develop and evolve models (across Health Insurance Claims value chain) used across analytics packages.

- Design data test and learn experiments to drive personalized solutions across the customer journeys addressing key customer needs as well as enabling personalized experiences across each touch point through connective analytics.

- Collaborate across business to prototype, launch and Iterate analytics capabilities that quickly across Claims operations

- Automate analytics models and simplify current information management

- Develop insights and story lines through translation of analysis and modeling

- Build and deploy tools and methodologies to create solutions enabling analytics and measurement of Claims related activities.

- Partner with leaders from Claims business and colleagues in Analytics team to translate the company's business objectives, opportunities to a better customer experience

- Collaborate with business to ensure data driven decisions are embedded into the business process.

- Any other roles and responsibilities as deemed fit from time to time.

Technical Requirement :

- Strong communication skills with a strong entrepreneurial attitude to cut through organizational dynamics.

- Excellent problem solving and data analysis skills, with expertise in developing or applying predictive analytics, statistical modelling, data and text mining/NLP, or machine learning algorithms on structured and unstructured data, at scale.

- Hands-on experience using Apache Spark, Python, R, SQL and Data Visualization tools.

- Experience or understanding of end-to-end software tool/solution development and life cycle management.

- Intellectual Curiosity and knowledge of the data landscape in health insurance.
