Senior Advanced Analytics Role - Data Science & Machine Learning - Insurance Vertical

Responsibilities :

- We are looking for an experienced Analytics Professional (Senior Data Scientist) who has considerable experience of working in Advanced Analytics Machine using Advanced Statistics and Machine Learning Algorithms in solving Business Problems. (Predictive Analytics and Web Analytics).

- Collaborate closely with senior leaders in building the clients - advanced analytics capability.

- Lead a team of seasoned analytics professionals and partner with cross-functional teams for creating solutions for clients.

- Should have a very strong domain expertise in the Insurance Domain. (Not only financial Services).

- Work with Marketing to work on Customer Consulting programs to build capabilities and deliver projects in the Insurance domain.

Required Skill Set :

- 7-15 years of hands on analytics experience in executing projects pertaining to Advanced Analytics involving advanced statistics/machine learning & Optimization algorithms.

- Must have hands-on experience with data management and quantitative modeling

- Hands on experience in Advanced Analytics software like R/Python/Scala

- Proficient in analytical techniques

- Strong experience in advanced analytics

- Very strong domain expertise in Insurance Vertical.

- Experienced in managing and leading a team of business/ data analysts.

- Strong problem-solving and presentation skills, with the ability to interface directly with business leadership.

NICE TO HAVE :

- Deep domain expertise, understanding of current & future trends and best practices

- Graduate/Post Graduate degree, preferably in Engineering /Statistics

- Strategic thinker with excellent skills in planning & team leadership.

- A Consulting background preferably from Big Consulting firms.
