Our client offers a payment solution that enables a Buy now, Pay later product for frequent online purchasers with a credit term of 14 days. This not only removes the hassle of entering credit card details repeatedly but also allows consumers to buy items in bulk and settle the payment when they have time on their hands.
Their primary focus is to leverage data science to solve real-life challenges in eCommerce.The company was founded in December 2015 and its operations are based out of Mumbai. The founders of the company include alumnus of IITs and IIMs who have extensive experience in Finance and Consulting with companies like Accenture, Barclays, ICICI, etc.
Some prominent brands that have allied with them to offer this solution to customers include PVR, IRCTC - Indian Rail, Industrybuying.com, Tolexo, Crownit, etc.
As a Sr Data Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying business problems, formulating an analytical solution approach, using structured and unstructured data to build solutions, deploying them into the product and measuring and monitoring improvements through test and learning methodologies.
What you will do:
- Defining and continuously refining the analytics roadmap
- Providing thought leadership and hands-on experience for ongoing initiatives
- Recruiting, managing, motivating, guiding and growing a team of associates and mentoring them in their careers
- Leading a team of associates and deliver analysis that supports business decision making, such as:
- Marketing Attribution, Customer Delinquency, Customer Retention, Forecasting, and Collections
- Building, Deploying and Maintaining the data infrastructure that supports all of the analysis, including the data warehouse and various data marts
- Building, deploying and maintaining the predictive models and scoring infrastructure that powers critical decision management systems
- Partnering with business teams to systematically design experiments to continuously improve customer acquisition, minimize churn, reduce delinquency and improve profitability
Candidate Profile:
What you need to have:
- 5 to 7 years of deep, hands-on analytics experience in a management consulting, start-up or financial services or fintech company
- Deep knowledge of problem-solving approach using analytical frameworks
- Deep knowledge of frameworks for machine learning, data management, deployment and monitoring of performance metrics
- Hands-on exposure to delivering improvements through test & learn methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to be pleasantly persistent
