Senior Data Analyst - KPO

Sr Data Analyst :

Experience: 7-12 years

Location: Bangalore/Gurgaon

JD:

- Must have Banking/Financial services industry experience/domain knowledge

- Must have good technical experience in Pyspark, Scala, Hadoop, SQL, Python (cannot just be SQL experience)

- Must understand data models: Technically able to validate, analyze, data model and write clear use stories to Data Engineers. Querying the internal/external data, speaking to SMEs

- They must be able to determine if a data model needs to be updated, but they are not the ones updating the model

- Does not need to be an expert in Pyspark/Python/Hadoop as long as they are good in SQL and can write SQL queries

- Be able to work with and direct senior stakeholders based on data analysis performed

- Able to guide the junior data analysts

- Have data management experience, specifically DG and DQ

- Understand DQ components and how to validate the data using the typical DQ dimensions (consistency, completeness, accuracy, etc.)

- Be able to not only understand if the quality of the data is good but also if there might be other sources of trusted data leverage critical thinking in understanding the overall process at a holistic level (vs just doing analysis on a table)
