Senior Data Analyst - Data Quality - Controls Team - ITES

Data Quality with SQL and Python or Power BI.

Technical-

- Unparalleled knowledge of Data Quality, Different Data and ETL tools

- Good experience on Data Lake, Data crunching, Querying and retrieval of data from different Databases using ETL tools for at least 3 years is a must

- Strong knowledge and experience with reporting packages and Programming languages (such as Python, ETL frameworks, SQL, R etc.) is a must

- Working Knowledge and experience on Power BI or other visualization tools for 3 years.

- Big Data Analytical Skills (Exposure on Data lake & connecting to BI tools)

- Hands on experience on Data quality projects is a must

- Good knowledge of Databases and the ability to analyse, model, interpret data & connecting to BI tools

- Advanced knowledge of MS Office skills, especially Excel Power query and Power Point

Functional-

- Ability to understand Banking business lines and Support Units & Banking products

- Data-driven Curiosity and business-cum-Analytical Approach, especially on Data quality projects

- Exposure to Audit, Quality check or Internal Controls will be added advantage

- Work directly with stakeholders to implement and address data quality & data mapping issues.

Profile Required

As a Senior Data Analyst in Controls team, your main objectives are:

Data Analysis: Data Extraction, Transformation and Loading data into reports or databases for comparison and analysis between different sources of data. Working with different in house tools to ensure data quality between the tools are good. Create dynamic dashboards in Power BI and uploading and maintaining same in report server. Execute projects by participating in requirement gathering, Data framework, creating designs, architecting solution & implementation and testing the same

- Inform / Escalate issues found during reporting on timely manner to superiors or management

- Defining, monitoring and reporting of KPIs & KRIs for key tasks & activities

- Ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries.

Excellent Communication skills both verbal & written

Good interpersonal skills

Knowledge of SQL, Python & ETL tools are must

Specific Context

Core/Key Responsibilities (include below but not limited to):

- The role will primarily comprise of Data Analysis relating to controls data and compare the same between different tools in the organisation with detailed comments.

- To support & provide more details on the queries raised by end recipient. To follow up the roadmap defined, data cleanup, data crunching, data analysis.

- Inform / Escalate issues found during reporting on timely manner to superiors or management

- Defining, monitoring and reporting of KPIs & KRIs for key tasks & activities

- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
