Senior Data Analyst - BFSI

Key Responsibilities:

Data Management & Analysis:

- Collect, organize, and interpret large datasets from various lending, deposit, and sales channels.

- Leverage advanced Excel functions, SQL queries, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to generate actionable insights.

- Maintain data quality and integrity across multiple systems.

Sales & Business Intelligence:

- Develop dashboards, reports, and predictive models to track KPIs (loan disbursals, defaults, customer acquisition, etc.) and identify growth opportunities.

- Analyze market trends, competitor data (e.g., from leading NBFCs), and local economic indicators to refine product strategies and sales initiatives.

- Provide insights on cross-selling, up-selling, and retention strategies tailored to the Kerala market.

Strategic Collaboration:

- Work closely with branch managers, sales teams, and senior leadership to ensure smooth data-driven decision-making.

- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, assisting in business expansion plans and risk mitigation.

- Support the implementation of new technologies and analytics processes, ensuring seamless integration with legacy systems.

Operational Efficiency:

- Identify process gaps and spearhead improvements to enhance operational workflows.

- Provide training and support to junior team members on data analytics best practices, ensuring they meet compliance and quality standards.

- Recommend and implement automations to reduce manual interventions and improve turnaround times.

Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's or master's degree, Data Science, Finance, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in NBFCs or Banks, with a strong foundation in sales and data analytics.

Technical Skills:

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, Power Query, Macros).

- Hands-on experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or similar).

- Familiarity with SQL and data modeling concepts is a plus.

Language & Location:

- Must be fluent in Malayalam (spoken and written).

- Based in or willing to relocate to Thrissur, Kerala.
