Senior Cyber Security Advisor - IT Services Firm

Our client is one of the Top 5 IT services firms in India. We are looking for an astute Cyber security professional with over 16 years of experience in Consulting/Advisory practice engagements.

An ideal candidate should:

- Have worked with an advisory firm specialising in providing Cyber Security services.

- Have strong connects at the CISO level, act as Trusted Advisor and derive business from those relationships.

- Come from a strong Security Consulting, Professional Services and Managed Services background

- Have the capability to built the security practice from the scratch.

- Have strong understanding of the business impact of security tools, technologies and policies.

- Possess deep domain knowledge in perimeter, host and SIEM preferably with network background

- Possess technical expertise in the information security domains like Cyber (threat management/Vulnerability management), IAM, SOC, Cloud Security and Security Outsourcing.

- Have a good understanding of the vendor landscape, specifically in the cyber security domain including Cisco, Palo Alto, IBM, McAfee etc

Key Responsibilities:

- Define and execute end to end Consulting Led / Advisory practice engagements including proposal development, core delivery encompassing performing assessments, gap analysis, stakeholder interviews and coming up with strategy, recommendations, and implementation plan.

- Define and execute Advisory management strategies including escalation management, streamlining delivery process, control of margins and operations

- Engage with the internal teams to analyze the current state of security processes and systems of customers,and ensure that the data gathered can be used to help clients realise their business objectives.

- Collaborate closely with delivery teams within the organization to ensure that the best practices are being followed.
