Senior Credit Underwriter - NBFC/FinTech

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Credit Underwriter based in Hyderabad. The Credit Underwriter will be responsible for analyzing loan applications, assessing creditworthiness, and making lending decisions based on established policies and procedures. The Credit Underwriter will also be responsible for communicating decisions to clients and maintaining accurate records of lending activities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Under-write applications and process them within stipulated time.

- Contribute to underwriting funnel improvements.

- Communicate the performance results and other findings with the respective stakeholders.

- Adhere to the company's lending protocols.

- Implementing the best possible methodologies in improving credit performance, considering the risk associated, yet offering the prim .

- Analytical Skills is a must.

- Excellent written and verbal Communication Skills.

Requirements :

- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Credit Underwriting ( Personal Loans ) in NBFC/ Retail Banking/ Fin-Tech.

- Expert in credit underwriting principles, methods, and practices.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to notice discrepancies.

- Proficiency in MS-excel and MS-Word will be an added advantage.
