A.Position Purpose:
- The position is responsible for management and governance of Risk Policies (Wholesale and Retail, both). The position shall entail coordination with stakeholders from Business and all Support functions, as well as interaction with Statutory Auditors and Regulators.
- This would include all facets of risk. As these inputs are used for strategic decision making, accuracy and timeliness is of utmost importance.
B. KEY Position Responsibilities :
Sr. Key Responsibilities but not limited to:
1. Create Risk Dashboards and other ad-hoc analytical requirements for presentation to Board & Senior Management on time with accuracy
2. Draft, Create & Manage Risk Policies keeping in mind regulatory changes and business exigencies, as well as Disseminate to relevant stake-holders
3. Interact with internal stake-holders from Business, Credit function and other support functions on various aspects of Business, Risk and Risk Policies
4. Manage interactions with Statutory Auditors and Regulators on Risk and Risk related Policies of the Bank
5. Ensure Risk data points as collated and submitted to regulators are accurate. Build in necessary controls and validation framework to ensure data accuracy
6. Ensure data used for MIS and Analytics is accurate and take pro-active steps to address data quality issues
7. Take up risk projects to enhance productivity and automate manual processes as feasible and appropriate
C. Qualifications and Experience Requirement :
Qualifications :
Essential - MBA and/or CA from a premier Institute.
Experience :
Essential Minimum :
- 7-12 years of experience in Banking/Financial Services/Consultancy
Preferred - Good knowledge of Credit Products and credit appraisal methodology
- Good Data Management & data interpretation skills
- Good communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Problem solving skills to meet strict timelines while working with unstructured data
- Good inter-personal skills to manage and coordination with stake-holders from other departments
