- Appraise business loans within defined policy guidelines and accordingly take decisions or recommend for approval to appropriate authority
- Understanding and interpretation of financial statement, banking statement and GST returns
- Analysis and interpretation of bureau reports to determine repayment track record
- Preparing CAM of customer for decision making and data maintenance
- Ensuring TAT, decision of cases within acceptable levels
- Monitoring portfolio building, type of cases being onboarded
- Liaison with various teams like external credit team, sales, collection to constantly improve the credit process
- Personal discussion with customers to understand their business, profile and loan requirement
- Checking customer physical verification reports
- Ensuring timely updation of credit decision MIS, Internal dedupes
- Ensure approval tracker is given to business
- Maintain proper records to track the deviations taken if any
- Maintaining rejection summary and relook cases basis merit, Clear all exception in cases
- Training & knowledge upgradation of team periodically
- Tracking the case from inception till disbursements and post disbursement monitoring
- Provide recommendation to management for review of the credit policy
- Review performance of the outsourced activities such as CPV, Legal
- Working closely with the business heads and other stakeholders to formulate and execute the product roadmap.
People management
- Relationship and people management with both internal and external teams.
- Leading, directing and developing talent to build domain and functional expertise
Required skill sets :
- Relevant experience in some or all facets of consumer finance businesses (Business Loans, Retail financing, Personal Loans etc.
- Strong people management skills
- Strong analytics and technology orientation.
- Relevant, demonstrated leadership experience in managing a high performance team with a sound understanding of key business drivers
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes.
- Strong inter-personal skills and leadership ability, which encourages and promotes enthusiasm and team spirit
- Master of multiple tasking.
- Some one who take initiatives and challenge
