Client is a well known Bank and rated among its peer group

For its Mid Corporate Credit team; it is actively scouting for some one who shall lead the vertical at regional level for South to oversee the functioning of the team.

Role Specs:

- Approve and recommend medium ticket credit exposures (Client turnover: 500 cr+ , Ticket Size : 60 cr + ). Responsible for Mid Credit portfolio health for the Zone.

- Lead a team of senior analysts spread across the Zone. Leading, training & monitoring performance of team members to ensure efficiency in the operations.

- Credit approving role including in-depth analysis of - clients / their prospects, financial statements to analyse commercial & operational aspects, business model, management competency, industry dynamics and competitive position.

- Implementation of credit standards & guidance set by the bank's policies / programs and suggesting changes, if any.

- Provide an independent credit opinion and recommendation on the proposed exposure & structures .

- Hands-on experience in managing credit transactions/ operations including improving risk management policies; monitoring & controlling mechanisms, procedures & systems to detect transactions outside established parameters.

- Identify business, structural, financial & overall credit risks, stipulating covenants to mitigate and ensure adherence to compliance requirements of RBI, Legal, Risk Management.

- Tracking performance of portfolio and follow up on high deviation cases, highlighting critical risk zones and securing portfolio with collaterals in high risk cases leading to reduction in delinquencies.

- Identify and report all negative events & early warning signals on potential problematic accounts/ relationships & signs of stress in client relationships, design strategies to address the stress and take pre-emptive measures to protect portfolio quality.

- Responsible for internal risk ratings with the objectives of improving credit quality and maximization of rated credits to ensure capital relief.

- Adhering to TAT for cases (as per banks requirements) and co-ordinating with RMs / ZHs for regularisation of overdue accounts, security perfection, covenants monitoring etc.

- Presenting credit proposals / Reports to appropriate committee, as and when required.

- Review of Quarterly Call Reports and Regular engagement / meeting with clients.

- Contribute suggestions for process and workflow improvisation.

- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients for data collection, compliance -and co-ordination with internal & external auditors.

- Assist National Credit Head with staff planning & budgeting for PAN India Risk function

Candidate Specs:

- CA / MBA

- Must have strong expertise in Credit, Risk & Relationship Management, Portfolio Monitoring, Financial Reporting & Analysis, Due Diligence and Team Management.

- Sound knowledge of credit ratings, research & decision making and underwriting processes.

- Proficient in managing various lending operations including appraising proposals, conducting risk analysis before sanctioning loans including market risk, management risk and industry risk.

- Played a key role in the preparation of commercial proposals including interaction with customers, devising risk mitigation strategies, interacting with Relationship teams.
