Senior Credit Analyst - BFS

Our Client plans to add a new vertical within the Fixed Income Research business - the Credit Research & Advisory business.

The role is accountable for setting up the line of business and coming out with research publications and developing credit advisory products. Also the role will work closely with internal teams in structuring transactions and in improving the credit understanding of the Our Client Fixed Income Advisory team.

Managerial Responsibilities

Setting up the Credit Research & Advisory business including processes, methodologies and roadmap

Functional Responsibilities

- Analyzing credit market trends and dynamics

- Collect (from public sources, databases & company management), analyze & interpret credit info and communicate to the market

- Building credit models, industry databases and authoring reports

- Financial modeling, trade idea generation, developing relative value theses

- Interpret and structure bond indentures, covenants and deal documents

- Credit analysis of bonds/loans and coming out with recommendations

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:Post Graduate / MBA

Experience: Minimum 6 years' experience in credit analysis and report authoring in credit rating agencies / lending organizations

Functional Competencies:

- Credit analysis skills and analytical report writing skills

- Experience in managing a team and setting up business verticals will be a plus
