Senior Cotton Trader

- Individual is expected to develop on the current business mainly compromising of shipments from West Africa to the Asian markets

- The Individual is expected to plan expansion of the business to other markets and across time develop a book of 100000 mt

- He is expected to set up budgets and targets and motivate the team to develop that business

- He is also expected to set up risk limits acceptable to the risk time comply with these limits and participate in weekly M to M discussions and have a daily PNL ready

He is also expected to

- Drive operational efficiency - shipments, documentation cycle time

- Communication with external/internal stakeholders

- Complaint handling/negotiation with buyer and supplier

- Develop relationship with existing/new shipping lines, freight rate negotiation, ensure priority

- Develop market intelligence, fundamental and technical analysis

- Exception handling / troubleshooting

- Ensure contract/invoice/shipment etc documents compliance
