Senior Corporate Finance/M&A Specialist - Conglomerate - IIM/MDI/ISB/SP Jain/FMS

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. To be an internal corporate finance specialist with knowledge to support team leaders and businesses in assessing inorganic and organic opportunities and recommend solutions which result in value creation for the entire business conglomerate.

2. Implement the best-in-class execution (with various internal and external stakeholders) for the various M&A, financing and restructuring transactions by assessing potential options / solutions which meet the growth objectives and seamless management of entire transaction process with various internal and external stakeholders.

3. Assist the Business Corporate Finance to implement Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) / Restructuring / Capital Review assignments in various businesses.

4. To undertake detailed financial assessment of assignments/ capital investment proposals through standardized/ uniform analytical tools (like IRR, ROCE, pay back, etc) with an objective to provide financial inputs for enabling decision on the proposals.

5. Assist Team Leaders/ conduct negotiations, take end-to end responsibility of documentation and closing of transaction.

6. To track and analyze data on post deal performance of some select deals to compare anticipated benefit vs realized benefit.

7. Conduct industry analysis to evaluate new sectors /portfolio expansion to enhance market cap.

8. Mentor Analyst Team members and train them to help enhance their skillsets on modelling, due diligence and valuation.

9. Facilitate deal negotiations by filtering and identify key issues through comprehensive diligence of information.

Desired Candidate:

1. Experience between 10 - 13 years would be ideal.

2. Candidate should have worked in Investment Banking for 4 - 5 years and then moved to Corporate Finance and M&A advisory role.

2. MBA graduates from Top B Schools like IIMs, MDI, ISB, SP Jain and FMS only.
