Immediate opening with our client which a large MNC PR Firm for A Senior Consulting Associate/ Account Manager - PR - MNC PR Firm

Location : Chennai

Role:

- The individual will join the client servicing team & work with client across sectors - Corporate, Consumer Technology, Entertainment etc.

- This position leads the Public Relations activities for clients in the Chennai location. The individual will implement/execute regional clients/projects and is the leader for supporting network client activities in that location.

- In addition, the individual will assist the Market Leader, in developing and implementing strategic business initiatives of the Firm.

- In addition to the responsibilities of managing a portfolio of clients and acting as a mentor and coach to the account team, the individual will take on the responsibilities of working on new business development and supporting senior management.

- The individual will be expected to manage teams and assign responsibilities to ensure client satisfaction and deliver results within a profitable budget.

- The individual will actively coach and mentor team members to support their professional development, encouraging initiative and creativity and a high level of performance.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate would have to be:

1. Educational Qualification - Graduate or Post Graduate in any stream or professional qualification in the field of public relations or marketing communication.

2. Skills - The individual should be self-motivated & possess excellent written and oral communication skills. S/he should be able to establish trust with both external and internal stakeholders. S/he should be articulate, have attention to detail, excellent presentation skills, good interpersonal skills, & manage teams. A business manager, s/he should be able to manage simple P&Ls while multi-tasking and working under pressure of deadlines.

3. Client Servicing - Lead client retention & growth for his/her SBU. Would be able to develop the strategy /annual /quarter plan for the client portfolio under control. Provide counsel to senior members of the client organisation. Well versed in developing professional relationships with journalists, analysts and key influencers in the location.

4. Internal - Must ensure adherence to the client service, business and employee processes of the firm. Ensuring an open, transparent and apolitical work environment

5. Experience - For Senior Consulting Associate, minimum of six years of work experience in Public Relations or in the Communications Department of a company with solid client servicing and account management experience. with last 2 years leading a team and driving the Public Relations strategy.

Minimum Requirements:

- Minimum 6 years of work experience in public relations or the communications industry.

- Should have experience in working in a PR agency.
