The Consultant/ Senior Consultant will work as part of a client delivery team to identify opportunities for growth, create and implement advisory solutions to improve financial, operational or quality outcomes in Supply Chain & Logistics areas across various Industries.
Skill Areas:
The Consultant/ Senior Consultant must possess conceptual knowledge of Supply Chain & Logistics operations, Business strategy, markets, segments and project delivery mechanisms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide client organizations with industry-specific, business consulting expertise, whilst sharing knowledge and best practice across the business. Attend customer conferences and workshops.
- Diagnose client issues and underlying concerns
- Determine client needs and present options or outlines for the client to consider
- Transform client requirements into a work-plan and follow through on execution
- Manage assigned activities autonomously and with creative initiative to complete quality work on time
- Independently collect, validate, analyse and synthesize data to support engagement objectives
- Produce project deliverables with clear written communication, professional documentation, careful attention to detail, and high standards of excellence.
- Coordinate with project team to ensure on time completion of project activities & milestones
- Create impactful client facing communications and presentations.
- Ensure projects are on track and resolve potential challenges related to deadlines and client expectation management. Ensure client satisfaction through end of project reviews
- Maintain a high level of customer interaction and delivering high visibility consulting assignments, across the Supply Chain & Logistics practice (and sub practice areas)
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:
The successful candidate will be a professional and committed business consultant, with a thorough understanding of consulting methodologies. Proven success with direct client interaction, business development, custom research, project fulfilment and a pro-active, methodical and innovative working practice is essential, with a proven ability to deliver accurate results within a fast paced, client focused environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or MBA in Operations/ Supply Chain & Logistics is required
- Master's degree preferred
- 5-12 Years of professional work experience in Management Consulting/ Business Strategy/ Industry in Supply Chain & Logistics function is mandatory
- Demonstrated capability to lead projects and teams
- Demonstrated capability to facilitate effective, cross functional, client meetings
- Demonstrated capability to establish credible relationships with mid-level client managers
- Education, training or certification in strategy, project management, performance improvement, and change management is desired.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to create professional and impactful presentations /documents as client deliverables.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal) is required.
