Senior Consultant - Risk Model Strategy & Data Analytics

One of our leading clients in Bangalore is looking for Sr. Consultant role who has good work experience in risk model Strategy & Data Analytics (CCAR, Basel and Risk models)

Designation : Sr. Consultant

Experience : 9-12 years of relevant experience

Skill set: CCAR/DFAST modeling exp, SR-11/7 understanding, Basel exp, at least 5 years working knowledge of PD/EAD/LGD and CCAR stress testing models (PPNR, Deposit balance etc.), Documentation expert

Tool : Microsoft office champion, SAS knowledge

Location : Bangalore

Major Duties :

- Manage the quality assurance process across model development, implementation and maintenance

- Administer the standards for high quality model development and model management across CCAR, Basel and Risk models

- Determining the gaps, as per the QA Checklist, in the model development and documentation for models in a phased manner. Work in conjunction with the model development team in filling the identified gaps and enhancing the model development reports

- Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of critical procedures, templates to support approaches used to develop and manage Capital and Risk models

- Responsible for identifying weaknesses in controls and developing solutions to improve analytics activities

- Evaluate quantitative approaches to model development; coding, model methodologies, model testing requirements, and data analysis

- Evaluate qualitative approached to model development and maintenance; model implementation, contingency plans, quality and transparency of documentation, variable selection processes and ongoing monitoring plans and execution of requirements of the enterprise model risk management standards

- Interface directly with senior managers responsible for modelling activities, Internal Audit, Model Governance, and Regulators

- Identify efficiencies and modelling activities that require enhancements for execution, standards and maintenance

- Responsible for training and education of model developers on regulatory requirements and high functioning model development and maintenance activities
