Position : Senior Consultant - Revenue Assurance
Reports To : Manager
Job Description :
Overall Responsibility :
- The Senior Consultant has a primary responsibility to complete tasks assigned by supervisory personnel and for direct supervision of Consultants in executing revenue assurance project work plans.
- The Senior Consultant has direct, client-facing engagement responsibilities. As a core member of the project team, the Senior Consultant learns to identify areas of risk and opportunities to improve revenue assurance processes.
- Through interaction with client and project team personnel, the Senior Consultant develops professional relationships that contribute to exceptional client service.
- Serving as both role model and trainer, the Senior Consultant demonstrates the attributes of excellent client service and assists team members in developing technical and professional competency.
Educational & Professional Credentials :
- Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline (e.g. Accounting, Finance or Business Related field) required
- 3+ years in a related field, preferably in professional services and/or telecom industry
- Professional Certification such as CPA, CIA, CISA strongly preferred (Required for advancement to Manager-level position
- - Big 4 experience in Telecommunication consulting assignment, strongly preferred
Required Knowledge & Skills :
- Able to project a professional image of Protiviti
- Prior project management and supervisory skills
- Strong report drafting and presentation skills and includes documentation of findings and recommendations in French and / or English language
- Interpersonal skills to interact in team environment and foster client relationships
- Demonstrated understanding of the importance of business ethics
- Must be able to handle highly confidential information in a strictly professional manner
- Must be able to maintain professional demeanor in times of high stress
Required Technical Knowledge & Skills :
- Knowledge of telecom revenue streams and the related network elements
- Understand control points and conduct reconciliations to identify and minimize revenue leakage
- Carry out risk assessments / diagnostic reviews on revenue related processes and evaluate the adequacy of controls in place to mitigate those risks
- Process mapping and documentation of core revenue streams
- Excellent understanding of business processes, control, risk environment and auditing principles (COSO, COBIT).
- Ability to understand telecom revenue flow path and leakage risks
- Understanding of Telecom business application and services such as VAS, Roaming, Billing, Interconnect, Switching, Mediation etc.
- Understanding of KPIs and CSFs of the revenue assurance activities of the client.
- Knowledge of revenue assurance processes and methodologies, including flowcharting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications and other data analysis applications.
Ability To Travel :
- Travel throughout the month frequently required based on client requests/commitments on short notice
