Management Consulting - Financial Service

The MC - FS offers services to the clients in the following key areas

1. Credit Risk Analytics

2. FS policies and procedures (Credit/ Treasury / Operations)

3. Investment banking/portfolio management

4. Retail Banking

5. Regulatory Capital Management- Basel Regulations - Basel 2, 3, recovery and resolution plan

This practice offers and an excellent opportunity for experienced candidates / Team member in the Consultant/Associate consultant/ Research analyst position to grow by working in cross-functional engagements beyond the specialization area.

Position: Senior Consultant

Location: Doha, Qatar

Industry sector experience :

- The person should have in-depth knowledge of banking and financial services industry or Experience in financial services consulting

- The key roles & responsibilities for the position include among others:

- Support delivery leadership

- Hands-on working knowledge in at least one area of FS - Preferably Basel and credit risk

- Support /develop proposal as and when required

- The team member shall be open to taking up stretch assignments, as and when required in other areas of financial services. Further, he/she shall be able to support business development through proposal writing

Key skill set and hands-on experience required :

1. Operating model (credit);

2. Credit risk analytics; IFRS 9 implementation experience

3. Policies and procedures (knowledge in at least one area of the bank's operation preferably credit operations)

4. Banking regulations - Basel 2 and 3 (Clear understanding and working experience in Basel 2 and 3)

Understanding of Treasury / Investment Banking would be an advantage.

Language Requirements :

The candidate should have a high standard of proficiency in English

Minimum qualifications :

- MBA from a reputed B school (Top 15 B Schools preferred)

FRM - PRM / GARP - preferred

Experience :

- 3-4 years in financial services with specialization mentioned above. Preferably experience gained in a consulting firm, or with a Bank or Financial Services Institution

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, analytical ability and presentation skills

- Ability to manage right deadlines and prioritize tasks
