Senior Consultant - International Tax - Consulting Firm

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Responsible for managing the periodic computation and filing of statutory compliances such as VAT, Sales Tax, Corporate Tax, Withholding Tax etc.

- Responsible for ensuring smooth conduct of annual filing as per VAT, Sales Tax, Corporate Tax and Transfer Pricing Regulations.

- Advising clients on the tax issues faced by the client.

- Preparing and sharing periodic updates with the client on changes in tax regulations.

- Maintaining back up/archiving all the challans, returns and workings in a systematic manner.

- Preparing periodic updates for the status of filings done and reporting the same to the stakeholders.

Desired Profile :

- A candidate with experience in VAT, Sales Tax, Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing, Withholding Taxes with respect to UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Iraq and Jordan.

- Preferably a candidate who is a Chartered Accountant with minimum 2-4 years of experience in a related field preferably in professional services or CA firms.

- Interpersonal skills to interact in team environment.

- Must be able to handle highly confidential information in a strictly professional manner.

- Must be able to maintain professional demeanor at all times.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications.

- Knowledge of accounting and ERP will be added advantage.

- Enjoys travelling and meeting new people. Ability to travel (Domestic & International) as necessary to meet client needs. Second language skills and international business experience will be useful.
