The Role :

- You'll be responsible for preparing, reviewing and analysing financial reports for our clients. Our ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting, auditing and budgeting procedures.

- You should have excellent knowledge of Quickbooks to manage accounting services. You should also be able to monitor daily transactions and recommend ways we can improve financial health of clients. 

- Ultimately, you will play a vital role in providing ultimate financial services to our customers, ensuring compliance with the law and accuracy in accounting.

Key Responsibilities :

- Deliver high-quality books efficiently for our customers.

- Organise and update financial records as needed (digital and physical).

- End to end Management of Quickbooks for accounting services.

- Conduct periodic reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy.

- Analyse transactions and prepare reports.

- Issue financial statements.

- Calculate and issue financial analysis of the financial statements.

- Maintain an orderly accounting filing system.

- Perform regular, detailed audits to ensure accuracy in financial documents, expenditures and investments.

- Forecast revenue and analyse profit margins.

- Oversee ledger reconciliation and manage accounts payable/receivable.

- Participate in budgeting processes.

- Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management.

- Liaise with Tax Accountants to track tax payments and returns.

- Delight customers with expert guidance and support.

- Work with engineering to define and evolve our bookkeeping processes.

- Keep company financial information confidential.

- Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements in respective countries.

- Follow accounting policies and procedure.

- Stay informed on industry developments and changes in regulations.

Skills Required :

- Proven work experience as a Certified Public Accountant is Must.

- Have an Associate's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience.

- Excellent knowledge of accounting software Quickbooks.

- Experience working with US clients will be an added advantage.

- Certified IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) is an added advantage.

- Thorough knowledge of accounting and financial procedures for US (GAAP).

- Knowledge of bookkeeping and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

- Advanced MS Excel knowledge (familiarity with formulas, VLOOKUPs and pivot tables).

- Have excellent communication skills, both in person and in writing.

- Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.

- Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information.

- Experience and comfort with phone support a plus.

- Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-context startup environment.

- Ability to work with limited supervision in a dynamic small office environment.

- Must act independently and demonstrate effective conflict resolution skills.

- Can quickly learn to navigate current and new systems and tools.

- Open to working for rotational shifts as needed.
