Job Description:

Reporting in to a Manager, your responsibilities will include:

- Perform End-to-End generic risk model development using customers and Credit Bureau data

- Perform necessary analysis, such as data quality assessment, analysis to define performance window, historical window, dependent variable, interaction variable creation etcetera

- Conduct complex statistical analysis under the supervision of a Senior Statistician

- Create model development design document along with timelines for all milestones

- Analysis across credit, fraud and insurance arenas

- Complex data assessment and integration from multiple platforms as required for analytical purposes

- Create detailed documentation outlining design and technical specifications of each solution

The Successful Candidate:

As the successful applicant, you will have:

- A Masters Degree in any quantitative discipline:

- Statistics (preferred)/Economics (preferred)/Math/Engineering/MBA etcetera

- 3+ years of experience in BFSI

- Experienced in building logistic and linear regression models, knowledge of alternative methodologies preferred

- In-depth knowledge of the business problems in financial services. Knowledge of credit bureau data is a plus

- Very good knowledge of SAS. Good to have exposure of UNIX/WPS/R/S-Plus/SPSS, but not mandatory

- Excellent interpersonal and interpersonal skills

- Good to have exposure of working with clients in the USA

- Ability to create and understand complex analytical solutions

- Works well with all other teams/departments

- Be well versed with verticals like Auto, Communications, Mortgage, Payments, Retail Banking and Insurance
