About Company: Our client is a start-up in the IT-Consulting and Services space, delivering transformative solutions across Business Transformation, Enterprise Technology Strategy, and Product Engineering domains. They are working with Fortune 100 companies in US, Europe and India to discover and implement high-performance Artificial Intelligence solutions.


About the role: As a consultant in the Business Solutions team, Resource will undertake client engagement and workstream leadership for projects within the Business Solutions and Strategy Consulting practices. As part of this role, he is responsible broadly for delivering strategy recommendations to clients using tools like data analysis, workshop facilitation, and structured decision making. He is also responsible for managing project timelines, and ensuring that key deliverables are being submitted to the client on time, at cost, and within the expected quality standards

Roles & Responsibilities:

Project management and deliver - 30%

- Prepare project plan and team workplan that is aligned with SOW

- Ensure regular tracking of client meetings and deliverables as per the workplan

- Identify data needs ahead of time, and submit request to client counterpart

- Establish good working relationship with client counterpart and ensure regular communication and feedback loop is established

- Identify skills needed for client delivery, and ensure internal experts are informed, prepped and scheduled to participate in relevant discussion and deliverables

- Keep track of NDAs, client invoicing, payments, renewals and other such documentation required to keep project running in good order.

Business analytics and consulting - 20%

- Understand data provided by client, obtain clarifications and additional inputs wherever needed to ensure the team has all the data needed to build its recommendations

- Guide data analysts with the appropriate advice on the type of data tables needed, ways to prepare and present the data, and the additional research and analysis needed to support the preparation of client recommendations

- Ensure data analysis is error free, and relevant to the hypothesis, or questions being explored within the project

- Work with the senior consultants and project managers to ideate and prepare the storyline for client presentations / workshops / reports or other interactions

- Craft the relevant slides as per the planned agenda or storyline, with a high standard of quality, and as per the style and ways of delivery associated with company's consulting.

Business development - 20%

- Steer the development of sales pitch documents, based on evolving client conversations, under the guidance of senior sales leaders

- Develop case studies and use cases as needed for prospect conversations

- Maintain the roster of ongoing prospect conversations and ensure timely delivery of agreed inputs to the process.

Primary and secondary research - 20%

- Undertake primary and secondary research to support the preparation of proposal documents, and pitch presentations

- Guide the analysts and interns assigned to the Business solutions projects on the right ways to undertake research, right data sources, and right table structures and visuals for the best output

- Ensure quality control of the data analysis output provided by analysts and interns on the project

Knowledge management - 10%

- Ensure that project learnings are recorded and submitted into the company's knowledge management database from time to time

- Work with the project leaders and other senior specialists in company to prepare and facilitate training and capability development sessions

- Identify gaps in knowledge, in the process, domain or technology areas, and work with the knowledge management leader to fill those out

Requirements:

- Education Requirements: MBA/Post Graduation from a reputed institution

- Experience related requirements

- 3-6 years of market research experience with demonstrated ability to efficiently execute in an ambiguous environment

Technical Skills:

- Good knowledge of primary & secondary research sources and competitive intelligence via secondary sources

- Advanced ability to understand the research approach based on the business question

- Ability to execute, synthesize, and interpret the data and derive analysis

- Basic to advanced MS-office skills (MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint)

- Develop understanding in triangulating information from multiple sources to generate meaningful information

- Strong work ethic, personal motivation, and team player who is dynamic and result oriented

- Good interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal

- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams
