- As a Senior compensation analyst, you'll shape policies that reward employee contributions. You'll be part of Human Resources and work closely with stakeholders across geographies, design and communicate pay structures, grades, compensation budgets, and guidelines.
- The position holder will also evaluate jobs and maintains job descriptions and job architecture. Additionally, the position holder participates in compensation surveys, conducts research and analysis on market competitiveness, pay equity, and compensation trends.
Key Responsibilities and Outcomes (What the Person needs to accomplish in the role ?):
- Benchmarks jobs against survey data and other market intelligence to determine strategically competitive compensation ranges for each position.
- Reviews new positions in anticipation of recruitment to ensure appropriate classification. Based on position-specific information, determines if an existing description/Job Code can be used for classification. As necessary, modifies and creates new descriptions which accurately reflect current roles, responsibilities and requirements.
- Participate in annual and ad-hoc surveys, evaluate data integrity, summarize results, produce reports and present findings to management handles administrative steps to formalize recommendations.
- Participate in planning & administration of annual Total Compensation review exercise.
- Provides analytical support and data analysis on projects and human resource metrics.
- Managing salary structure creation and maintenance
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Education, Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Behaviour) and Experience:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree. Masters degree in related field preferred
- 7 to 9 years of relevant experience. Demonstrated knowledge of compensation practices with proven ability to partner with cross-functional teams across countries and time-zones
- Highly organized with a demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality results in fast-paced, complex global business environment
- Strong work ethic proven by accountability and the ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality
- Experience with Radford, Tower Watson, ERI or other compensation survey/tools
- Fluent in English communication.
- Expert knowledge and use of MS Excel & MS Powerpoint.
- A natural problem solver and critical thinker, with an eye for detail and recognizing trends; aptitude for translating data or complex findings to senior leaders.
- A self-starter and able to work independently, but also cooperatively in a close team environment
