Position : Sr. Communications Business Partner India

Experience : 5-8 Years

Location : Gurgaon

Purpose of Role :

- Provide strategic leadership and communications counsel for India and SBUs based in India

- Understand BU business objectives and develop BU-specific communications objectives & strategies

- Act as single point of contact between Corporate Communications Asia and the respective SBUs and CFs, ensuring alignment while meeting business needs.

Responsibilities :

- Interface with SBUs/CFs in India

India Corporate Communications :

- Lead/ implement communication initiatives in India, in close consultation with Head of Asia Corporate Communications

- Act as strategic communications advisor for Regional Head South Asia & Australia

- Identify, understand Region business requirements and develop strategic communications objectives and strategies

- Be a single point of contact between Head of Asia Corporate Communications, Regional Head, and ensuring alignment while meeting business needs

- Facilitate senior leadership of Region in the approval and prioritization of identified communication requirement

- Detail and document overarching communications strategy for India

- Integrate Corporate Communications strategies, frameworks and policies into Region's overall plans

- Implement communications activities and tactics according to agreed plan

- Manage Region communications budget in collaboration with Head of Asia Communications, and evaluate communications effectiveness and results of India

- Leverage relevant strategic insight from Global Corporate Communications CoEs to enhance country specific communications where applicable

- Implement crisis communications and issues management

SBU Marcom India :

- Act as strategic communications advisor for respective SBUs on an ongoing basis, in close consultation with respective Global and Regional SBU Marcom Leads

- Diagnose business communications needs of respective SBUs through activities such as BU plan analysis and identification of stakeholders and target audiences

- Understand business needs and develop strategic communications objectives and requirements

- Detail and document overarching communications strategy for respective SBUs

- Develop BU-level strategic communication plan, detailing the defined objectives, resources, responsibilities and timeframes

- Facilitate senior leadership of respective SBUs in the approval and prioritization of identified communication requirements

- Implement communications activities and tactics according to agreed upon plan

- Integrate Corporate Communications strategies, frameworks and policies into overall plan of respective SBUs

- Manage BU communications budget in collaboration with respective SBUs Lead

- Evaluate communications effectiveness and results of respective SBUs

- Ensure alignment of BU strategies / objectives with Corporate Communications CoE

- Leverage relevant strategic insight from the Corporate Communications CoEs to enhance BU-specific communications where applicable

- Implement crisis communications when required

Business relationship management :

- Develop and maintain a high trust relationship interface between Corporate Communications, SBUs and CFs, and between senior BU leadership and Corporate Communications

- Collaborate with CoEs to deliver global initiatives

Talent development :

- Take ownership of own career and skill development by constantly maintaining and increasing subject matter expertise in both general and required specialization areas, working closely with department heads
