BMJ Learning is looking for a doctor to play a key role in the development of BMJ Masterclasses and BMJ Online Learning in India.
Key responsibilities:
- Your key tasks will be to develop and produce BMJ Masterclasses and BMJ Learning modules for the Indian market, advising UK based BMJ Learning editors about local intelligence and supporting the local sales team in training customers and promoting the BMJ brand.
- You will develop close relationships with stakeholders in medical education and liaise with national and international speakers, authors and strategic partners.
- You will be responsible for writing proposals and business plans and developing links with local clinical leaders.
- In addition to establishing business and activities, you will manage the day-to-day running, production and editorial processes for these projects, products and partnerships.
Education & Skills:
- You will have a degree as a medical doctor with significant clinical and management experience, and a good understanding of what doctors in India need to learn about and what constitutes effective and enjoyable learning.
- You will have a solid understanding of the Indian health system, best practice in medical education, evidence-based medicine and national CME, sponsorship and commercial guidelines.
- You must have strong oral and written communications skills with the ability to plan and organise a busy workload.
- You will be able to work both independently and within a team and are not afraid to make suggestions and decisions to ensure that a high-quality evidence-based result is delivered.
- You will be computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and very comfortable using the internet.
Previous experience:
- Editing evidence-based clinical content, producing and delivering audio and video content, and organising events would be an advantage.
- In this role you will report into the Editor, BMJ Masterclasses International, based in London.
Only people with relevant experience, education, and skills (MBBS & editorial experience) would be considered.
