Senior Buyer Home Category (For a leading Retail Brand)

Position: Sr. Buyer Home (Hard goods, Decor)

Reporting to: Category Head

- This is a DGM level opening. Team handling experience is a must. RETAIL EXPERIENCE IS A MUST.

- The role holder will be responsible for the entire Home category. Should have experience into Hard goods i.e. furniture, decor, etc. Good experience into trend forecasting, range planning, vendor management.

- Determine the buying requirements and formulate buying plan as per budget, based on the analysis of historical trend and future forecasts. 

- Identify and shortlist potential partners and negotiating commercials.

- Create product range as per the brand positioning, pricing and margin strategy. Directing seasonal buying plan, correcting the in season buys by identifying missing opportunities.
